SNV CEO talks data at TEDxDelft

Meike van Ginneken, SNV CEO will present at the upcoming TEDxdelft event which takes place on June 6th, 2019.

This programme of impressive and inspirational speakers is the 7th edition of this independently organised event. It will be held in TU Delft and the theme of the 2019 edition is RE:load. Using the idea of RE:load the speakers will focus on ideas that will encourage the audience to RE:think and RE:evaluate certain ideas and preconceptions.

The theme of Meike's discussion is RE:veal and she will discuss how understanding world data can be an antidote to the negativity that you see on TV or social media every day.  This talk provides a big picture on how the lives of billions of people have gotten much better if you look at the data and how data can inform where more needs to be done.

Before joining SNV, Meike held various leadership positions at the World Bank, including leading its energy programme in West and Central Africa from 2012 to 2016. Previously she worked for the Global Water Partnership and Doctors Without Borders. Meike will her own unique perspective and experience to the discussion.
