    More than two billion people still lack access to clean cooking, with significant impacts on health, livelihoods, gender equality, and the environment. This publication highlights SNV's approach to accelerating access to clean cooking through inclusive market development, partnerships, and technical assistance. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, it showcases how clean cooking can contribute to universal energy access while strengthening climate resilience, improving livelihoods, and supporting more equitable and sustainable development.
