Contributing to systems change - IAP

  • Abstract

This analysis highlights the catalytic potential of inclusive business investments to facilitate systemic change across sectors. Using SNV's six-dimensional analytical framework, the study illustrates how IAP-supported enterprises challenge entrenched structural barriers in food, energy, and water systems across four countries. For example, evidence from Zambia shows progress in formalising land tenure, while in Ethiopia, shifts in consumer behaviour demonstrate the broader impact of inclusive business models. These insights reaffirm that strategic business interventions are vital for fostering comprehensive, system-wide development.
