  • Abstract

Across the Sahel, climate shocks, food insecurity, and protracted conflict are placing growing pressure on communities and the organisations working alongside them. In June, SNV convened around thirty practitioners, researchers, and policy actors at the Hague Humanity Hub to exchange perspectives on working across the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus in fragile contexts. This paper brings together reflections from the roundtable, exploring why continued engagement matters and what it requires in practice, from strengthening locally led resilience and planning for responsible exit to breaking silos, sharing risk, and understanding how interventions interact with wider drivers of fragility. It reflects a range of perspectives rather than a consensus position and should not be attributed to any individual or organisation present.
