  • Abstract

The Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (YEE) project by SNV aims to empower young people aged 18-35 in Africa and Asia by providing essential tools, skills, and networks. These projects focus on creating inclusive job markets, offering tailored financial products, and fostering an enabling ecosystem for youth-led enterprises.

Key initiatives include innovative finance, green entrepreneurship, and digital innovation. Success stories from Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, and Zimbabwe highlight the transformative impact of these projects, showcasing how young individuals are overcoming barriers, achieving financial independence, and contributing to their communities. The projects have reached over 600,000 young people since 2013, with a goal to impact 1.5 million by 2030.
