Kenya Horticulture Partners Day

SNV is organising the Partners Day for the Kenya Market-led Horticulture (HortIMPACT) project and its sister programme Sustainable Water for Agriculture (SWA) project, in cooperation with our partner AgriProFocus.

The event is scheduled for Thursday 12 July 2018 and will be held at the Safari Park hotel in Nairobi.

Both the HortIMPACT and SWA project offer exciting opportunities for the Kenyan horticulture and smart water technology sector by developing innovative business cases. These are developed with Dutch and Kenyan agri-businesses that interact closely with Kenyan smallholder & medium farmers.

Companies that are involved HortIMPACT and SWA business cases face a common and consistent challenge: sustainable access to finance to scale their innovative solutions, grow their business and create more impact.

During the Partners Day, more than 100 representatives from these companies will come together for panels, discussions, speakers and exhibitions. They will make connections and share potential ideas to tackle this financial and other challenges.

Attendees will also include representatives from farmer groups, other private sector companies, financial service providers, government representatives, lobby associations, and exhibitors of innovative agri-technologies.
