Register Now! Horticulture Trade Mission to Kenya

Are you a business or entrepreneur interested in getting involved in one of Africa's fastest growing Horticulture sectors? We invite you to register for a trade mission to Kenya in September to link Dutch companies to Kenyan players in the Horticulture sector. Supported by SNVs HortImpact programme in cooperation with NABC, the Netherlands African Business Council.

The Kenyan economy grew in 2015 by almost 6% with agriculture growing at the same rate. Within agriculture, horticulture is now the fastest growing sub-sector by about 15% annually.

Kenya has a growing consumer and producer market, and there is increasing demand for locally produced, quality food. Those involved in the Kenyan horticulture sector can apply Dutch knowledge and technology to increase sustainable production of quality safe fruits and vegetables by local farmers.

HortIMPACT which is managed by SNV, co-invests in promising innovations for the Kenyan horticultural sector in cooperation with Dutch and Kenyan companies. These investments contribute to horticulture sector development in Kenya and support Dutch companies in Kenya. In collaboration with NABC, the Netherlands African Business Council, SNV is arranging a trade mission on September 19 to 23, offering the opportunity to Dutch and Kenyan entrepreneurial farmers and businesses to network and exchange information and knowledge to improve the sector.
