SNV Lao PDR releases a Cookbook for Improved Cookstoves

SNV Laos is glad to announce that its colorful “Lao Cookbook, People and Their Stoves” has been printed this week. The booklet is meant to profile the Lao Improved Cookstoves (ICS) programme in an eye catching manner for a very general public.

The ICS programme started in 2011 and aims to increase the market share of fuel efficient locally made stoves for wood and charcoal by involving 15 producers, 150 retailers and resulting in 100,000 stoves by 2016.
