Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Global Forum 2023

SNV, in partnership with the European Union delegation to Ghana, will organise the 2023 YEE Global Forum. The event will take place between 14-15 November 2023 in Accra, Ghana.

SNV organised similar platforms in Mali (2019) and Ethiopia (2021) to enable young people to engage with key actors and stakeholders and discuss the successes and challenges of activities to increase youth employment and facilitate entrepreneurship.

The forum will bring together local, regional, and international stakeholders, including young entrepreneurs, to explore how young people can engage with the Green Jobs market.

We again will amplify the voice of young entrepreneurs and employees in the agri-food, energy, water, and emerging green sectors. The Global Forum will:

  1. Enhance partnerships;

  2. Contribute to and influence the youth employment and entrepreneurship discourse in the ‘green’ sector, regionally and globally;

  3. Share evidence of successful approaches;

  4. Provide networking opportunities; and

  5. Promote the exchange of ideas among young people to promote youth innovation.

The forum will utilise plenary sessions, breakout sessions, exhibition sessions, a practitioner forum and other forms of dialogue to develop concrete outputs to help lower barriers to youth employment in Africa.

The outline of the Forum’s agenda will be shared in due course.

We look forward to your participation. Please save the dates in your agenda.
