  • Abstract

SNV, with the technical support of Upward Spiral, has been applying the Behaviour Centred Design framework in developing and implementing a behaviour change communication campaign. As a first step, the research team analysed the current situation of water quality and household water treatment practices, defined the goals for the behaviour change campaign, identified knowledge gaps for designing the campaign, and used these to structure research questions. During the second step the team used these questions as the basis for conducting formative research. This report presents the findings of the research.
