Abstract
The SNV 2030 strategy sets out our vision and mission, the global context in which we work, and the choices we are making to deliver sustainable, more equitable lives for all. It explains how project and programme delivery connects with influencing, so that evidence and partnerships help transform systems over time. It also details our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals and how our approach aligns with them.
The strategy focuses on three sectors that are central to people’s well‑being and opportunities to thrive. These are agri‑food, energy, and water. Across these sectors, we apply three core themes that guide our work: gender equality and social inclusion, climate adaptation and mitigation, and strong institutions and effective governance. Together, these priorities help us strengthen local leadership, build capacity, and catalyse partnerships that support lasting change.
Inside, you will also find an executive introduction, our values and shared culture, and the ways we measure and communicate progress. The full version is designed for partners, donors, researchers, and colleagues who want the complete rationale, structure, and commitments behind SNV’s 2030 strategy.
